Forstreet - Chair

Forstreet is a chair made with strips of asphalt that becomes a symbol of denunciation of the uncontrolled use of cars and its consequences: production of CO2, accumulations of smog, heavy effects on the health of planetary ecosystems and humans.

But it is also a warning to reflect on the continuous exploitation of finite resources such as highly polluting oil and fossil fuels and the problem of deforestation.

FEATURES:

· Body in sheet steel obtained from cabinets made with the same material.

· The upholstery of the seat and the backrest are made with post-consumer tar plates coming from the resurfacing of road surfaces.
· To prevent the tar from staining the clothing it comes into contact with, it has been treated with a light coat of transparent water-based varnish.
